    I am trying to connect WPForm automator and when I trigger this recipe from within WPForm I get the error: “This item was disabled because it could not be found on the system. To re-enable, ensure the associated plugin is installed and activated.” and when I attempt to create the recipe manually from dashboard, it does detect WPForms and let me select which form I prefer but when I click on Get Variables, nothing loads.

    Hi @boboiscrazy ,

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Typically what you’re experiencing would happen in 2 situations:

    • There’s a caching issue preventing us from loading UI elements properly
    • Permalinks are set to Plain

    From the system report, your permalinks seem okay (but maybe you could just visit Settings > Permalinks in /wp-admin/ to make sure they’re not plain?), which suggests a caching issue.

    On a related note, it is interesting that in the status, it shows that all of our caching and background actions are disabled. Did you disable these manually in our settings? Otherwise, it seems like Automator is detecting a caching issue and disabling things accordingly.

    This seems like a pretty clean install; none of the plugins should be causing this. If there are host-level cache controls, can you try flushing them to see if it makes a difference?

    Finally, could you right-click the page in your screenshot showing the error, choose Inspect, then check the Console tab for any errors? If there are any, could you send them to us? For the “Get Variables” issue you report, maybe after getting the error you could also check for Console errors as well.
