WPForms advertisement overlaying my plugins

When you have sometime, can you please share a screenshot of the message that you’re seeing so I can take a closer look? Also, please share the site information which you can get from Tools > Site health > Info, and click on “Copy site info to clipboard” button as that will help us to replicate on our end.

It is gone now, I have no idea how. I had a screenshot pasted in the WordPress reddit post but I deleted it since they told me they couldn't help me and to reach out to plugin support. I can describe it to you!

The overlay was green with a yellow tint to it and it had mabye 70% transparency. So I could see the plugins but no click on them. It's corners were rounded and it was placed over only the plugin section not over the whole dashboard. The text was placed at the top stating "Buy WPForms pro", something like that leading to the official WPForms site and it's plans.

As I've noted I could delete it via the F12 console. Now I could deactivated the plugin WPForms Lite (inlcuding the overlay) so it was gone, that was great since if I would refresh the page without deactivating the overlay would appear again.

Hey @thetableisbroken – Thanks for sharing the details. I tried replicating on my end as I see you’re using WPForms lite 1.8.2.3, however, I’m unable to reproduce on my dev setup. Since the banner isn’t showing in your website admin area, please post on this thread in case you notice the banner again and I’ll be happy to take a closer look.

Hey It’s back again after I installed this alt-text bulk editor plugin, wp-forms lite is still online and I will try to keep it that way so you can investigate. Sadly I can’t add a screenshot for some reason

Here’s the code I found in devtools

Unfortunately, I don’t have that plugin anymore. I only needed it once, and I can’t seem to find it anywhere now. By the way, the overlay issue has disappeared again, and it doesn’t seem to follow any specific pattern.
