We encountered an issue with the reCAPTCHA used on WPForms on our website. When we ran Page Speed Insights, we came across a ‘Reduce unused JavaScript’ problem with the reCAPTCHA URL, Tried differ JavaScript for the reCAPTCHA URL, but the reCAPTCHA verification is failing. is there any solution to fix the issue?

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @jalla520,

    Thanks for reaching out!

When you get a chance, could you please share the URL where is the form? That way, I can look at the form and check the Page Speed Insights to provide further information.

    Thanks!

Hello, I have a same problem. So I deactivated the Recaptcha module on WP Forms. Because Google Page Speed give error as ‘reduce unused javascript’. I tried to delay by my cache plugin (Flying Press), but no changes anything.

    Hi @piresat,

As demonstrated in this topic, Google reCAPTCHA will increase the page size because it adds its scripts.

Please note that Google reCAPTCHA is a third-party service, and optimizing its scripts is outside of our scope of support. In case you’d like to look into custom development options for this, we highly recommend using Seahawk.

And if you’d like more help with this, could you please create a new post on our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Thanks!
