WPForms reply-to not working

    I’m using MailPoet sending service to send all my sites emails. I also use WP Forms Lite for my contact form. When a user fills out my contact form, the reply-to and from address are supposed to be the user’s email, but they are instead using my admin email. So when I reply to any of my form notifications, it goes to myself. I have to copy and paste the user’s email every time, which is annoying.

    I have read other threads and they say to disable Mailpoet from sending all of the sites emails and revert to the default WordPress method. I have tried that but the contact form emails just never arrive in my inbox.

    I’ve checked the WP Mail Log plugin and it says the emails are being sent. And the headers display the correct reply-to and from address, but it’s just not how it is when the mail ends up in my inbox.

    Is there a solution to allows me to send with SMTP and make sure all my emails get delivered and my contact forms work correctly?

    That’s correct. When sending transactional emails with MailPoet 3, an email will be sent to only one To email address, meaning that multiple ones are not supported.

    However, we’re not responsible for the deliverability of emails sent with your WordPress default sending method.

    If you have changed the settings in MailPoet Settings > Advanced > Send all site’s emails with… back to “The default WordPress sending method”, the deliverability is not related to the MailPoet Sending Service or our plugin at all.

    I went ahead and installed the WP Mail SMTP with Google/Gmail as the SMTP. This has fixed the issue with WP Forms and my emails come through. But it’s coming from my gmail account, which doesn’t exactly look as professional as coming from my domain but it’s fine for the time being until a better solution presets itself.
