    Hi,
I receive the WPForms Summary with the number of form entries but doesn′t correspond to the reality. Why is that?
The last report had 8 entries and i didn’t receive nothing. For your information i had tested the form my self and is working properly.

    Thank you for you time

  • Hello @ffotografo,

    Thanks for contacting us!

It seems that the email summary report recorded form submissions, however, there might be some email delivery issue going on. To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely due to server configuration issues and/or strict email spam prevention settings that are wrongly detecting the notification emails as spam.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello,

We are also having the same or at least similar issue. Every week we receive a summary that says a form has 60 entries when no emails have been delivered.

We use your SMTP plugin and have extensively tested the functionality of the form and verified the server is delivering them.

How can this summary counter be reset to zero?

    Thanks

    Hello @yodajones,

    Thanks for contacting us!

I apologize, however, currently the entries counter can’t be reset. The summary report will show the number of form submissions that WPForms recorded. In case the email is not getting delivered, then there might be some email delivery issues going on.

When you have sometime, can you please let me know the mailer you’re using in the WP Mail SMTP?

    Thanks!

    Hello @prashantrai

Don’t you think it is odd behavior to have a weekly report that accumulates?

It would make more sense if the report reset after sending so that when the following weeks report is received one would not need to remember what last weeks count was in order to know how many messages were transferred for the current week.

We are receiving the reports, so no problem there. We do use WP Mail SMTP.

    Thanks
