    Dear all,

    is it possible to have WPforo accounts to be manually activated even if WP User registration is used?

    I use a WP User registration plugin where I have to manually approve new WP user registrations.
    Whenever a new account is created by registration form but still not approved the WPforo profile is already created and the new account is shown in the forum-members list.

    I’d like to have any WPforo member to be activated manually.

    Kind regards,
    Mirko

    Hi @depaoli,

    The user system is the same on the WordPress and the wpForo. Once one user register in the WordPress, he/she will automatically be considered as a wpForo user. There is no forum specific users in WordPress/wpForo website.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    I understand your point, but registered WP users which haven’t been approved by the admin and have no access so far, are already shown as activated users in WPforo.

    Is there no way getting around this?

    Kind regards

    Hi @depaoli,
    I see what you mean. We’ll fix this in upcoming version, so only active users will be listed in the forum members area.

    @depaoli,
    We’ve updated in the core without new version release. You can deactivate (not uninstall), delete, then search and install wpForo again.

    Kind regards
