    I’m getting a message :
    Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

  • If you have PHP controls on your host you may be able to check a box to load that extension on whatever version you are using.

    I have found that uploading photos stops at the thumbnail generation stage when using PHP 7.3, when running 7.2 there are errors but the thumbs still generate.

    One solution would be to run the files through Rector, which would alter the Function create_function()to the current usage, but I was unable to update them when I tried myself.
