wpmem_tos_link_txt – where to implement

    Hi there

    Please could you assist me with the wpmem_tos_link_txt

    I’m not a developer and I’m unsure how to edit the TOS text. I have read https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/docs/filter-hooks/wpmem_tos_link_txt/

    However where is the forms.php file? Or am I supposed to create one? I have tried adding a file I created to the wp-members/inc/ folder and into my theme folder.

    I have not been able to change the TOS text ??

    Also can I move the text up so it’s next to the checkbox?

    No, you should never change a plugin’s core files – that’s the whole reason for filters.

    Many of the plugin’s filter and action hook documentation pages have been updated to include a section of “not sure what to do with this code” links. This particular doc page had not been updated to the new template, so I have done that. If you go back there now, there are several helpful basic articles linked that tell you both how and where to apply a filter function. (And note that these concepts are for WordPress in general, including other plugins and themes, not just this particular plugin – so these aren’t “secret sauce” for this plugin alone.)
