WPML and brand slug

I have translated the brands using WPML. However, I cannot use the same slug for two languages.
For example, brandA is automatically changed to brandA-en for the slug field, even if I just select copy.

And now I use “show brand link” for
Show brands in loop
Show brands in single product
and these on the English translation are linked to mystore.com/en/designers/brandA-en instead of mystore.com/en/designers/brandA

Is it possible to have the same slug for brands?
