WPML and ERROR: NOT CITY FOUND?

  • Hi there,

    I have set up a website with WPML and provide content in german and english language. While the widget works like a charm on the german page it reports on the english page “ERROR: NOT CITY FOUND”. Thats curious since it worked until yesterday.

    The city is “Goerlitz”, the ID is 2918987.

    Please advise on how to identify the error.

  • Also having the same issue. Widget works for my UK location for a bit and then keep getting “ERROR: NOT FOUND CITY” error message.

    Location:Saxmundham, OpenWeatherMap City ID:2638464

    Deactivating and deleting and readding the plugin solves for a short time and then the error back.

    Have also cleared cache, checked API key and checked city ID again on Open Weather website.
