Hey there! Thank you for the great plugin. I am using the free version for now and am really happy with it!
For one thing, I cannot find the proper solution:
my website is in German (DE) and I use WPML to set up the second languge (EN).
On the page “Data policy” the text is translated automatically with [cmplz-document type=”cookie-statement” region=”eu”], but the cookie banner still is in German. I tried to follow the instructions to set the translations in the WPML strings. https://complianz.io/configuring-for-wpml/ In your example you go from EN to a second language. In my case it is the other way around. “other languge” first, then EN.
On the WPML strings page all Complianz texts are already english (Complianz base language I guess) and I cannot find the German strings defined in the Complianz settings page…
So, I was wondering, why does the automatic translation not work here (all texts are just standard)? Or what would be the proper way to set up the second language (EN in that case)? Thank you for your help! Stefan

    Hello @fnkjd77,

The cookie banner strings should be located in the “complianz” domain (WPML > String Translation), not the “complianz-gdpr” domain.

You can try clearing these strings by selecting all strings in “complianz” domain, clicking “Delete selected strings” and let WPML pick them up again by going to Complianz > Cookie Banner and re-saving the settings.

Let me know if that helps.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hello Jarno!
Thank you for your help on this topic.
In fact the domain “complianz” has not been listed in the WPML strings, but Re-Saving the Cookie-Banner-Settings helped. After saving, the domain showed up in the list and I was able to fill in the needed translations!
    1000 thanx – have a nice day!
    Stefan
