When I add photos to the gallery, I pick up the description of the Media gallery. The problem I have when the image is displayed does not translate the description of the photo in several languages. How do I make the module translatable? What I can not do is create the same gallery for each language, I would like to have a single gallery for all languages by translating the title and description.

    It’s possible? Please Help ??

  • Hello @vgarcia,

Thank you for reaching out to us!
The best solution at the moment is to make the same gallery for each language if you want to use WPML.
However, I will create a ticket with our development team to see if they can find a better solution for this in a future update when it comes to WPML.

There is a translation plugin you can use that will do exactly what you need: translate only the caption, title, etc without having to use another gallery.
    This is the plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/weglot/
And here is how to use it: https://blog.weglot.com/multilingual-wordpress-gallery-weglot-modula/

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have questions!

    All the best,
    Mihaela

    Thank you very much,

I am interested in using WPML, so I appreciate that in the future they enable compatibility with WPML since it is a plugin that many people use.

I was looking to see if it was compatible to buy the PRO version.

When do you think it will be compatible? I say it to wait or look at another gallery compatible with WPML.

    Thank you very much!
