WPML original ID not wokring

    Hi there, I’m using WPML and I ticked this box:

    ‘WPML: Use original product ID’.

    But none of the related product that are selected in the ‘Linked Products’ section are shown on the product page. The original language is showing the correct related products, but the translated product is not showing any.

    Any suggestions?

    Regarding your query, the related products should be displayed correctly for different languages even if you haven’t manually added the products in the Linked Products tab. The proper translation of the products should be displayed. That is the expected behavior.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the reply, but this works with related products based on categories. I don’t want to showcase products based on categories, I want to select 3/4 products individually, per prodcut. This works for the original language (in my case Dutch), but it’s not working for the translated products, even with the WPML checkbox checked.

    All products are connected to each other and the plugin settings are set to use the same WPML product ID. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Hi @rickaahz,

    The issue you are experiencing might be due to conflict with a third-party plugin/theme.

    Please check with only the WooCommerce, Related Products & WPML plugins and let us know if the issue persists. Additionally, you may check with the Storefront instead of any other theme.
