hi there i downloaded the language pack and put all the files into /plugins/flexible-coupons/lang
will this change also the email language?

Have you tried setting the site language as German?
The translations then should automatically include that language as well.

I understand that you are only using our free version of the plugin?

once i installed the language pack all went well with the email.
