Hi, setting up eShop (great plug-in BTW) in an established multi-site (directory based) environment (WP 3.41 on CentOS 5.9). Created two PayPal Sandbox accounts ([email protected] and [email protected]) and while in Test Mode and logged into WP as blog admin (not Super Admin) I can proceed all the way to PayPal Sandbox, etc., (the purchase ultimately fails but that’s a separate issue to be dealt with later). The problem occurs when logged into the blog as a subscriber; there is no Confirmation button on the checkout page. I have enabled “Allow users to sign up to your site” as some suggest but see nothing (as either user). The products are on pages and not posts. Switching to Live Mode allows the subscriber to see the Proceed to PayPal button and then redirect to PayPal. Is there a configuration I’m missing?

I’ve gotten the payment through PayPal working in the Sandbox when logged on as the blog admin (store owner). Still cannot get the Proceed to PayPal button to show while logged on as a subscriber.

Our recent experiences with PayPal Sandbox suggests that it’s totally borked and has been been for quite a while. Ever since their last “update”. So bear that in mind whilst you are testing.

If eShop is in Test mode. then any user below the level of Admin, will not see a button on the checkout page by design. Try bumping your “purchaser’s” role up to Admin level to see if that helps.

Yes that worked. Of course it makes sense (now). Cheers.

No problem. Glad I could help ??
