WPMU Defender Flagging a suspicious file in php comp checker

  • Since the latest WordPress Update 5.2.2 WPMU Defender has been generating the following report

    Website Vulnerability Detected:
    DiscouragedSwitchContinueSniff.php /home2/okforkli/public_html/wp-content/plugins/php-compatibility-checker/vendor/phpcompatibility/php-compatibility/PHPCompatibility/Sniffs/PHP/DiscouragedSwitchContinueSniff.php -Suspicious function found

    I just wanted to check with the dev’s that this file is legit and secure before whitelisting it in Defender.
