wpmu "sites on subdomain" install loading wrong site

I have searched for hours and have not found a solution so I apologize if this is somewhere else.

I installed wpmu through my cpanel and it set it up so extra sites are subdirectories. I wanted them to be subdomains so I went and set up the wildcard subdomain and changed the wp-config file as many posts said I should. This appeared to work as when I went to add a new site, it went in as subdomain.mainsite.com; sent the email and password.

Now my problem. My wpmu installation is on an addon domain. When i go to subdomain.mainsite.com, it shows the right address but it tries to log into my accounts MAIN domain and if i type in that address, it goes to my main site. Please does anyone know how to go about fixing this?

I will go ahead and give the url’s if it will help. The example is holidaymementos . datapodz . com you will see it is loading canine-cancers dot com although still showing the first url.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ?? Everything worked fantastic as subdirectories but I just dont want it that way.
