    After some recent updates, I’m getting below logs from daily cron runs, any idea?

    The provided solution doesn’t work for me, is there any way to disable it somehow?

    Can you ensure permissions on your WordPress site’s directories are?755?and that the owner on your WordPress root directory (and all contained directories) is?www-data?and try the removal operation again.

    My problem…

    My host doesn’t seem to allow that, any other solution?

    BTW, I didn’t run the operation manually, it’s part of the daily cron I believe.

    This is what our developer said.

    1. WP-Optimize performs a number of operations in the “wp-content/uploads” folder, so it’s possible for issues like this to arise if there are permission problems. To ensure smooth operation of WP-Optimize, users should ensure that the proper permissions are set for the “wp-content” folder. This is highly recommended.

    2. WP-Optimize checks the WebP serving method once a day by running the “wpo_reset_webp_conversion_test_result” cron job. User can disable this cron job and see if the issue goes away. There’s a plugin called “WP Crontrol” which can be used to disable cron jobs.

    After updating the permission for the wpo folders in wp-content/uploads, everything seems to be fine now.
