WPP not showing views after instal ampforwp

    Hi,

    I love your plugin and we use it on our website https://historylab.dennikn.sk/

    After instal plugin AMP for WP your plugin stopped showing views in admin. We also use WP Rocket but everything works fine. I tried turn off every plugin and problem exists only in AMP for WP.

    Hi @peterkucerka,

    AMP in general doesn’t allow to run third party JavaScript code so there’s not a lot that can be done unfortunately. It’s either AMP or WPP, can’t have both.

    I understand (last week we had oficial AMP plugin for WordPress and everything works fine (with your plugin).

    We needed to change plugin because ads in amp version. Now it seems that plugin (WPP) works fine but doesnt show views only in admin (see screnshot – https://i.imgur.com/1nowZVT.png

    Yes, that’s because -as I pointed out before- AMP doesn’t allow you to run custom JavaScript code, only JS code that’s AMP compatible. Hence anything that requires normal JavaScript to run -like WordPress Popular Posts- won’t work correctly.

    You’ll have to choose between AMP and WordPress Popular Posts. Can’t use both at the same time unfortunately.
