WPPA – disable slideshow?

I’ve read everything in the forum I can find on the subject – and the WPPA creator mentioned (2 years ago?) that he had created a global setting to disable slide show. I’ve searched and searched, to no avail. Please tell me how to turn off the slideshow.

I would like to click on a thumbnail and have it launch a page “attached” to the image (full size view) RATHER THAN clicking on the thumbnail in a gallery causing slideshow to start.
