    Hey Opa!

    Hope all is well!

I was wondering where the settings for the (cron job?) wppa_cleanup are? I see mine is set to run hourly and I was thinking of changing it to run perhaps daily. Or is that advisable? I’m not sure what the function does.

    Thank you!

Do not change it, most of the times it does nothing, but when it does something it is important.

    The following happens:

    – Renew crypt processes if configured (See Table VIII-A13.1 and 14.1)
    – Cleanup session db table
    – Delete obsolete spam
    – Re-animate crashed cronjobs
    – Remove ‘deleted’ photos from system
    – Re-create permalink htaccess file
    – Retry failed mails
    – Cleanup qr cache
    – Add url-sanitized nameslugs to new albums/photos
    – Cleanup tempfiles

Tick Table IX-A9.1 to see in the wppa logfile what it does.

So what would be the default setting? Mine is turned to “off” 13.1 and 14.1.

    Thanks
