    Hi Wordfence team and community

Is Wordfence still efficient and able to do the job with a caching plugin like wprocket. Is there a particular setup or config in that combination case?

    Thank you

  • Thanks for reaching out.

I’m not a WPRocket power user and since it isn’t our plugin I can’t really offer support for it. However, I can say that I’ve used WPRocket on a few sites over the years and found it easy to setup and fairly intuitive.

I can’t recall any things to watch out for off the top of my head, and we don’t list any conflicts with WPRocket on this page:
    https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/plugin-theme-conflicts/

Please note : That page is not all encompassing. We add plugins or themes that cause problems as we get reports of them doing so, or find them ourselves.

One thing I always do when I see WPRocket or any caching plugin enabled is make sure it is not caching the admin area or error responses. Since WordPress is dynamic we also advise not to use object or database caching.

With wp-rocket specifically I make sure that if you are caching or minimizing js and css files, you add wordfence’s files to the exception list. You add them like this:
    /wp-content/plugins/wordfence/(*).css
    /wp-content/plugins/wordfence/(*).js

    I hope this helps!
