WPSC Search Function Issues

This plugin works great except for one problem, the search function. When a client enters a category of shoe they are looking for, like boot or wedge, it brings up a list of those products with pictures perfectly. HOWEVER, if the customer then clicks on the thumbnail of something they want to buy, it takes them to a “Page Not Found” error message.
How do I get the plug in to either take them to the products page for that item so they can buy it or, ideally, have an “add to cart” option right inside the search results in order to allow them to buy?
