• Hi!

I’m using “WPSiteSync for Content” and “WPSiteSync for Custom Post Types”. With the normal posts is working alright, but not with the custom post types. In my case with “Events Manager” plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/events-manager). When I sync one of the events it appears in the list of events in the back office, but it’s no ok at all. This plugin uses not only the post and postmeta table. It has others as event, location… I was checking the database after of sync and the event is created correctly in the post table but not in the others tables of the plugin, for this reason the event doesn’t appear in the front office. It’s weird, because if I access to the back office and I edit the event and I just save it (without changes), it works (more or less). The same happens with the event locations. I sync, I go to edit the location which was synced and I just saved it. In this moment I can use this location when I edit an event. I guess all of this is cause the plugin doesn’t realise this custom post types needs other tables.

If modifying something in the WPSiteSync plugin ro achieve this is not easy or possible I was thinking to do something like when a new location or event is sync, in the destiny web, update the custom post automatically in a hook. Or something like that.

    Anyone can help me? Regards.

    Hello Cesar,

You are absolutely correct they are creating additional items beyond the post and postmeta. This would require an extension specific to their plugin(Events Manager). We will add this to the list of requested extensions.
