    The ID it takes is the ID from the page itself. Based on the permalink settings you can indeed take it from the url, or otherwise you can see it when you edit it in the wp admin area in the url. The ID is the only way, slugs won’t work.

    But if you use the wpsl_map shortcode on a page that is registered as a wpsl_stores custom post type, then you don’t need to provide the id.

    I never really paid much attention to whether or not it preserves the page ids when export/importing data. You will just have to try it out.

    Is there a way to show Directions when using the wpsl_map shortcode?

    @buzznerd not yet, but in the future I will add this.

    You can, if you use the shortcode on a custom template, grab the location meta data and create a link like this https://www.google.com/maps?saddr=+&daddr=106+MOTT+ST,NEW+YORK,NY+10013. Just replace the daddr value with the details from your location.
