• Hi!

We’ve been unable to access WPStatistics for a while now. It’s neither showing in the sidebar on the dashboard nor in the menu bar nor on specific posts. I had hoped that the latest update would fix it, but it’s still not showing anywhere.

I already tried deactivating all other plugins, but the problem persists even when WPStatistics is the only plugin running.

I’m now at a loss at how to access the plugin (and our statistics) at all, and would appreciate any kind of help!

    Thanks in advance,
    Claudia

Went back to one by one and nailed it: Analytify Dashboard Widget is the culprit.

Regrettably began at bottom with Z and worked my way up but anything to troubleshoot an anomoly. WordPress is a an eighth wonder of the world, but ought have a tool to automate this.

    Thank you.

    Dear @wordlion,

Could you please confirm if we can close this topic, as it appears the issue is related to the Analytify Dashboard Widget?

    Thank you!

Analytify Dashboard Widget and WPStatistics were working until you updated and we’ve had to deactivate them to accommodate you—which perhaps points to you and not them although I don’t know what WordPress protocol is in such a situation—but in any case shouldn’t you ask Claudia / musicalzentrale?who began this column and after all appears to have a more serious and in fact an unrelated-to-Analytify failure due to do your update?

    Thank you.

    Dear @wordlion,

We provided a solution for @musicalzentrale in this comment; the issue was unrelated to the update. The topic remains open for the issue you reported.

Given the circumstances, we will keep this thread open as our developers continue investigating the incompatibility issue with the Analytify Dashboard Widget.

    Thank you!

    Hi Matthew,

thank you for the suggestions! I forwarded them to our web admin and while he doesn’t have WP-CLI?access, updating the roles in the database did the trick and WPStatistics is showing up again where it should be!

Thank you so much for your help! (I’m not marking the topic as resolved as other people seem to be using the thread for different issues and I don’t want to shut this down for them, but as for our issue, it seems to be solved.)
