WPtouch incompatibility

I’m not using WPtouch and I still can’t get Advanced Excerpts to work! Have installed it and adjusted setting every which-way but no joy. Excerpts are stuck at the regulation 55 words unless I hand-craft them.

I am using WordPress 5.2.3 running Themify Ultra theme.

That type of theme ( multipurpose, multidemo, a lot of options ) tend to do things their own way, they don’t always use the regular WordPress methods.

Our plugin relies on the themes using the_excerpt() call to output excerpts, it’s a WordPress function which the plugin hooks into to filter the text it outputs.

Since it’s a commercial theme (not free), we’re unable to test it out. Can you perhaps send over the URL to the blog page where the excerpts are, it might give me some idea on what could be done to get it working.

Hi, I’m having the same issue, ‘read more’ appears when you visit a link from the mobile homepage, then also on the post page, where it only appears as an excerpt and cannot be expanded. I can fix that, but then the excerpting on my desktop theme breaks! Any help appreciated!
