• I built https://www.FrequencyMartialArts.com over a year ago and have been updating the page on on regular basis, even using WPtouch to have it mobile friendly.

After an update of plug-ins tonight, I am now seeing my WPtouch Menu appearing within my desktop navigation and I cannot get it off of the desktop view.

I checked the location for my WPtouch menu and it is not selected for my Navigation Bar Below Header. It is only selected for WPTouch:HeaderMenu

I have gone into the Suffusion Options>Other Graphic Elements and made selections within the Native Navigation Menus, but nothing removes the menu.

  • Hi,

when I view your site I’m not seeing any touch controls in the desktop version – what exactly are you experiencing?

Do you think it was a change to WPTouch that caused this (they pushed out an update just 2 days ago), as it may be worth directing queries to their forum directly… https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wptouch

    Thanks for the quick reply.

My MAIN navigation on the site going left to right should end with VIDEOS. After doing the WPTouch update, those menu options (Benefits, Adult, Kids, DDP YOGA, Contact, Schedule and Testimonials) now appear to the right of my MAIN Navigation options.

I will check with the wptouch forum that you suggested.

    Thanks!

Those should be controlled via Appearance -> Menus. Have you checked what that’s showing?

Having said that, it shouldn’t have changed. I wonder if WPTouch controls which of those appear so all the menu options are present in there but should change on screen depending on whether desktop/mobile is being used.

I have gone into the Suffusion Options > Other Graphic Elements > Navigation Below Header

I see the FMA option within the Native Navigation Menus. I have tested both of the options (All, ignoring next option and Selections from the next option) and the options still appear.

When going to Menus and Manage Locations, the only location selected for the FMA Menu (which I set up for the mobile view) is WPtouch: Header Menu.

I also posted this issue on the WPTouch Forum as you suggested.

    Thanks again.

Ok, so in this case, the navigation is being controlled by the Theme and, more specifically, Suffusion. If you get no joy from WPTouch is may be worth getting in contact with your theme vendors.

    David.
