WpTouch Menus for Woocommerce Freeze Up

  • Hi, I am operating the WPtouch plugin to help shape my theme’s mobile site design and online shopping experience through WooCommerce.

    A few customers have alerted us of problems with the navigation menus, and our WooCommerce product menus. As you navigate to certain pages and add a specific product type to the cart, the complaints I’ve gotten is the phone’s browser then isn’t refreshing the page and allowing the customer to continue using the same product menu to add additional items of that same product to the cart. I personally have an IPhone and have not experienced any issues whatsoever with pages and any menus freezing. On the iphone it works wonderfully. However, a few Samsung phone users and a handful of other Android folks have responded that their phones are freezing. Again, is this WPtouch the plugin? Or a theme and woocommerce error?

    Has WPtouch heard of similar complaints before? Is this plugin related?

    Or could it be at WooCommerce or perhaps solely on the folks who have Samsung/Android devices? I’m trying to diagnose and see where the bugs and user-errors could be coming from. If anybody reading this has a Droid or Samsung Galaxy, I would greatly love it and appreciate it if you could tell me if any of these same page-freeze issues are being experienced when you are using the WPtouch navigation menu, and use the menus to select products in our storefront.

    Hi Aragas,

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having. The Bauhaus theme does not officially support WooCommerce. At this time, the only WPtouch theme that does is the MobileStore theme, and it is available for WPtouch Pro.     We haven’t seen the issue you describe, but we can only provide WooCommerce support in MobileStore. WPtouch Pro comes with a 14-day refund guarantee. If you encounter any issues, we’ll do our best to help you resolve them. If we can’t, we’ll process a refund in full for you.
