WPtouch Mobile Plugin shows blank white page instead of my blog all of a sudden

    I have had WPtouch Mobile Plugin successfully installed for a number of months.

    However, I checked my site at https://www.azam.info on a mobile device recently and it doesn’t work. It shows the site correctly for less than a second and then autorefreshes to show a blank white screen with a tiny face (a colon above a bracket) in the top left-hand corner.

    I’ve got an Android device (latest version of Android) and tested my site in different mobile browsers, but see the same blank screen.

    Can anyone help please?

  • Hello Azam.info, have a read through this Support Thread.

    Even though it talks about the image being at the bottom it might help you troubleshoot your issue. I believe you are running your website in WordPress.com, is this correct?

    You may be running into a conflict with another plugin. Please try disabling other plugins one at a time to see where the issue is being caused.

    Thanks verymuch for the feedback guys.

    Mbrsolution – No, not running in WordPress.com. The WordPress is hosted independently on our own web host.

    I tried the stylesheet changes suggested in the link you kindly provided, but that didn’t work.

    Also no luck to get the blog working by removing other plugins.

    Any other advice please?

    Update: fixed. The plugin to show thumbnail images on external links caused the issue. No idea why all of a sudden, as both plugins were working successfully together for months previously.

    Seems to work fine now that I’ve disabled the thumbnail plugin: https://www.azam.info – if it’s doesn’t kindly let me know.
