wpurp_taxonomy_metadata_appliance is stored in wp_options table?

  • Why is the wpurp_taxonomy_metadata_appliance stored in the wp_options table?

    Term meta was the right place for it considering it’s basically a custom taxonomy.

    I hoped I could update the link on each of my custom tags easily using WP CLI’s term meta update, but nop ??

    Disappointed…

    Hi there,

    We actually introduced that feature before term metadata existed and then kept it there for compatibility reasons. It’s probably a good time to switch things over now!

    Will look into it for one of our next updates.
