WPVIDEO – Where have my video's gone?

  • Hi Everyone,

    I am in the process of cleaning up a blog which has not been attended to for some time.

    Most of the video’s which I somehow embedded a while ago, will no longer play.

    There are two main issues –

    1) When I click on the video it says “Embedding has been disabled by the author of this video”

    2) When I edit the post, all I see is a reference like this –
    “[wpvideo np7y8EZz]”

    A couple of questions –

    What plug-in, or even resident WordPress program did I use the embed these videos?

    Can I somehow lookup reference “np7y8EZz”?

    Is there anyway of finding the physical location of my video?

    And … anything else you can think of.

    Help would be good, as a lot of these videos are sentimental (its a blog of my very young kids growing up).
