Wrapping my head around a project (which plugins to use)

Howdy folks,

I’m trying to wrap my head around a project that I am working on. Trying to build a site with paid membership where members will have their own profile page for their restaurant. They will upload their menu’s. Both menus and restaurants will be searchable. Here is what I am looking for:

1. The best plugin for profiles. The plugin will need to give the ability to control what the person can add (ie. how many menus, restaurant descriptions, etc).

2, The best membership plugin, to control all of this.

Any suggestions or points in the right direction would be great.
