Just finished installing and when I try to write a post or write a page the window is blank. Tried viewing on a mac and a pc.

I don’t see any form to fill out or anything….just the navagational bar and that is it. Other functions seem to be working (ie I can change themes)

Tried to re-install post.php but that didn’t change anything.

    What can I do?

    thanks

  • I take it, you mean when you click “Submit,” the results page afterward is what’s blank? I had the same problem, plus, after I’d activate or deactivate a plugin, it would come up blank, but I could do other things without that problem. Do you have plugins installed?

I would suggest deactivating all your plugins, then reactivating them, one by one. The blank pages after activating plugins stopped until one of the plugins produced an error that I hadn’t seen before. I deactivated it again and activated the rest of them, one by one, and had no problems after that. I can’t use that plugin, apparently. The plugin that was causing the problem was Spoiler Plugins 1.5. However, I was able to edit it the way I’d previously used it with WP version 1.5.2 and got it working with the other plugins. I don’t know what the problem actually was; I just copy-pasted the old file as I’d set it up for my site and used that. If you’re using this plugin and want a copy as I edited it (and you can change colors and whatnot as you wish), just let me know.

    thanks for the reply.

I don’t have any plugins installed.

The problem is when I go to begin to write a post.

    I go to https://scraptalk.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php
and I only see the navigation bar saying dashboard, write, mangage, etc. Then underneath that I see write post, write page…and then under that a white space.

If I click on write post or write page it still stays white

Oh, sorry, I’m not sure what that would be, but if nothing works, you might try reinstalling WordPress.

Try turning off WYSIWYG editor in the options page…
