Write Enable a template plug in

    Hello.

    I am new to WordPress and have installed a them and plugin that says I need to write enable it. I don’t know how to do that. Can someone give me very detailed instructions?

    Thanks. I am using CPanel and can’t get my hidden .htaccess file to show. There is not choice under my view menu or on the side.

    Also, the above article says this

    You can make all the files in your wp-content directory writable in two steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress main directory, with a command like cd wordpress/
    2. Enter chmod -R 777 wp-content

    I don’t know what that means. I can highlight the folder of the theme I want to make writable, but where do I do step 2?
