"Write Error" page result for any email links and even view in browser link

The plugin has been working for over a year now perfectly, however, just this week I sent an email out to people and all the links in the email and the View in Browser link are going to a white page that just says Write Error and a long url address like : https://mydomainname.com/sendpress/eyJpZCI6MCwicmVwb3J0IjozNzExLCJ2aWV3IjoidHJhY2tlciIsInVybCI6Imh0dHA6XC9cL21pcmFjbGVsZWFndWV3bnkub3JnXC9yZWdpc3RyYXRpb25cLyJ9/
I am getting the “write error.” message with any links, even the social icons links, unsubscribe links, etc. Basically, I click on a link in the email and it opens a new tab with a white page and the words “write error.” on the upper left side of the page and nothing else.
Looking at the older emails and sending tests to my email are showing that those links too are not working anymore either. This happens if I use the old or new template email system. I was using sendpress version 1.1.2.11 so I updated to sendpress version 1.1.3.17 and I am still having the same write error issue.
Any ideas what could be causing this and a solution?
I also tried the “missing tables” suggestion in the thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/links-within-email-not-working?replies=4 and that did not solve the problem.
Looks like I posted before looking even further and trying more things. After trying other suggestions found in other threads I still had the problem. Though what just worked was simply going to permalinks in settings and not changing anything but just hitting save anyway and the email links are now working. Hope that helps others.
