• We have an issue when writing a post we want multiple authors to stick to a minimum number of tags by using the auto complete feature. In 2.3+ an author can start typing text for a tag to a post and existing tags appear in drop down to choose from.

Some people are complaining the list doesn’t come up and only “-1” appears. This seems to be computer rather than browser specific. I have checked everything I can including JavaScript settings and can’t fault the computers.

Has anyone had similar experiences and resolved them or is this a known bug?

    Thanks,

    Mark

One further development. This appears to stop working on the same PC if you log in as a user that hasn’t logged into the computer before. Then after being logged in as that user for 45 minutes (in the one case I have timed) it starts working for that user.

Could this be an issue that could be resolved by installing a caching plug in?

I’m keen to get this working as WordPress is being used on an intranet as part of knowledge management and we would like be able to accurately retrieve relevant posts.

Anyone know of some sort of work around? Displaying all tags as buttons (like some plug ins do) would be unweildy as we have hundreds of them already.

    Thanks,

    Mark
