• My client is using a GoDaddy package and the site I have just redeveloped sits within a folder of the account domain (which also is a wordpress site).

I developed on a testing server then migrated the website to the new location

WP Super Cache is writing to the root .htaccess file and not the within the folder it’s host wordpress is.

The path to the Cache Location is correct, but the path to the htaccess is wrong.

I note a few people complaining about the same thing but see no answers.

I reset to default settings, cleared the cache and uninstalled the plugin – ran WP-Optimize – reinstalled WP Super Cache and the issue was still there.

Would be great if there were the ability in the advanced area to change the path to the htaccess as there is for Cache Location.

I am assuming this issue would be the same for wordpress subdomains as well – anywhere a another wordpress site sits in a folder beyond public_html.
