I’m evaluating Quiz Maker for a new site I’m building and an important feature is to have feedback show for incorrect answers. I’ve checked and double checked and it looks like I have everything set up properly but the explanation for incorrect answers isn’t showing up. I tried the radio button and true/false question types and it doesn’t work for either. I’m on the latest version of WordPress and have few plug ins running (only Elementor)

    Any ideas?

I think I may have figured it out. I opened dev tools in my browser and noticed that the display tag for explanation div was set to hidden. I changed it to block and it appeared. So then I tried the sample quiz (the math quiz) and added an explanation for a wrong answer and it appeared as expected. I then changed my quiz to show the explanations only on the result page and it worked fine. I had only one question in my quiz. I suspect that there’s a bug where the explanation isn’t showing if there’s no additional questions. I haven’t tested this yet but I suspect that this is what is going on.

    Hi @ppardi,

    Thank you for the topic.

We have checked your site and noticed that the Show correct answers option is not enabled for your quiz.
You need to enable this option so that the Show messages for right/wrong answers option works for the quiz.

Please go to the Quizzes > particular quiz > Settings tab and tick the Show correct answers option.

After that please check it again and let us know about the outcome.

    Thank you!
