    Hello @timorm,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    On viewing the Project CPT in English, https://www.heightspecialists.com/projects/?lang=en, the canonical URL referenced seems to be the English variant and not the Dutch variant:
    <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://www.heightspecialists.com/projecten/&#8221; />

    Does this meet your expectation?

    Hi @maybellyne,

    Thank you for the quick response. However I don’t think I fully understand you.
    When I look at the sourcecode, I see the following:
    <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.heightspecialists.com/projecten/" />

    What I expect to see is this:
    <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.heightspecialists.com/projects/?lang=en" />

    Thanks, @timorm for providing some clarification.

    Can you please share a screenshot of what you have entered as the canonical URL for the custom post type, Project in the advanced tab of the Yoast SEO metabox?

    For individual projects, the canonical field is empty.
    I cannot find the Yoast SEO metabox for the archive page. Where should that be?

    @timorm,

    For archive pages, you can learn more about setting the canonicals here and here

    I managed to modify the output for the canonical via one of the linked articles.
    Problem is now solved.
    Thanks for the help!
