• Some of the comments posted by visitors to my site are incorrectly attributed on the frontend to my (admin) username.

I’m guessing this might be because I had to edit some of them.

The backend (admin) shows the correct author names, but I can find no way to make them display correctly on the frontend. I would be grateful for any advice.

    Hi @pennymachines,

I appologize for the late response.

Please try to use the wpDiscuz 7, check and let as know how it work.
You can download the latest Beta version of wpDiscuz 7 here: https://beta.wpdiscuz.com/

Thank you very much for your response.

I deactivated and deleted the previous version and overwrote it with the Beta version.

When I first looked at the comments page, all the correct authors were showing, but of course the style was messed up.

I then carried out the 3 step setup process from Admin and regenerated data etc.

The display of comments is fine now, but unfortunately it’s showing the admin author again, in place of the commenting authors.
