Have been using the plugin for a while now with no problems reported. However, the other day a customer advised that the confirmation message they received after paying for a product was for a completely different amount. Upon checking, the transaction ID was for an earlier customer’s order for a different product. The only thing different that I found for this over other orders was that the initial payment failed (think they entered the wrong card details). Has this issue been seen before?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Hi, this is probably due to a cache issue. If you are running a cache in your site make sure you exclude the checkout page and or the pages with the payment button from getting cache. Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards.

Thanks for the response, I will look at doing this although testing it will probably rely on whether customers report it in the future. For clarification, is the checkout page URL site-name/stripe-checkout-result/ that needs to be excluded?

If so, I would expect that page to have been updated when the more recent transaction was completed rather than retain a previous customer’s transaction, so effectively overwriting the cached page?

Yes that is correct. I would also exclude other pages related to our plugin from getting cached.

    Kind regards.
