    Hi all,

Since I upgraded to Astra 4.4, there seems to be a bug regarding background and content-background colors in the WordPress editor.

On my website, I have white as content-background and a greyish color as “website” background.

When editing posts or pages, the background color only is greyish since 4.4. There is no different content background color anymore.

I use the standard WordPress editor, no special plugins.

Is this a known bug and will it be fixed?

    Thanks and best regards

    Hendrik

  • Hi @focustoinfinity,

Does rolling back Astra to the previous version brings back the page editor background color? If it does, please consider reaching out to us through our Support Portal, so we can take a look closer.

You can use a plugin like WP Rollback to roll back Astra with ease. Please don’t forget to create a proper backup of your site, just in case.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman,

    Thanks for your reply.

I just gave it a try and rolled back to 4.3.1. In that version, everything is being displayed correctly in the editor.

Hence, I will reach out to your support.

    Thanks and best regards

    Hendrik
