I’m not quite sure which default name you mean (on the frontend or the example in the settings page). When no freetext credit is set, credit is given to the owner of the image (“attachment”) object.

If you don’t want that, there is an option to disable default credits completely.

Have you been able to resolve the issue?

Yes, thank you for asking. I think that whatever name I log in with to my admin panel is the one it shows as the default. I am still trying to figure out how to use the app, though. It appears in my Media Library but does not seem to attach itself to any photos.

What exactly are you trying to do and what is not working? Have you had a look at the screenshots? They are not quite current, but the basic workflow has remained the same.

Is it possible that you this issue was the same as https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/media-credit-doesnt-display-if-no-caption-present?replies=19? If so, 3.0.3 should have fixed this. If not, please advise me on the steps to reproduce the errant behavior.

I assume this has been resolved then.
