  • Hello,

You’ll first want to do a full conflict test to determine if the issue is coming from a plugin/theme conflict. To determine what’s causing the issue, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable plugins one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

If you don’t want to test on your live site, you can create a staging site using a plugin called?WP Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Hi and thanks for reply. I couldnt spot what makes the conflict, so I asked WP Tech Support to work on it.

As a temporary fix, I would like to know if it is possible to insert the correct link in the email sent to customer.
In Backend Woocommerce-Order at the bottom, Downloadable product permission, there is a Customer Download Link. This one is working, how could I insert it in Completed Order Email in additional content?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting back.

Hi and thanks for reply. I couldnt spot what makes the conflict, so I asked WP Tech Support to work on it.

Let us know what you find out, as this look generated by a conflicting theme or plugin installed on your site.

As a temporary fix, I would like to know if it is possible to insert the correct link in the email sent to customer.

The email is auto-generated when the order is completed so there is no way to change the downloadable file link. It could be possible via a custom solution but this goes beyond the scope of support on this forum. For experts with customizations check out https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

In Backend Woocommerce-Order at the bottom, Downloadable product permission, there is a Customer Download Link. This one is working, how could I insert it in Completed Order Email in additional content?

You can send the link in a separate email to the customer if this is the case as a temporary solution, but as mentioned, there seems to be a conflict preventing the correct flow for downloadable files, so we recommend that you check that issue by conflict testing first.

    Thanks.
