I have an existing appointment in Bookly with Status Active.
If I go into Bookly>Calendar, edit this appointment, change the date and time, and leave the Status set to Active, Bookly uses my email template of type New booking notification instead of type Notification about customer’s appointment status change.

I thought the New booking notification should only be sent once, when the appointment is first booked.

When you update an existing appointment, should Bookly be sending the Notification about customer’s appointment status change?

Response I received from Bookly Support:

The new notification booking is triggered, because other notification type are usually for changing the appointment status, when you change the date/time, the status is not changed. I’m afraid that there’s no option to set up another notification that will be triggered only for the time/date change.

If you would like to make it more obvious for the customer, that they have a new time slot for their booked appointment, you could cancel their current appointment and book a new one.
