wrong email with user registration notification

  • When I add a new user in the control panel, the notification is sent from a wrong address.
    I specified the email address in Settings=>General

    E-mail address: ……. This address is used for admin purposes, like new user notification.

    The email address I specified is a valid one on the same domain that my WP is installed.

    Where else would I need to specify it?
