• Asalmoualaikoum brother,

I noticed a bug when Isha ends and the dashboard showing time for tomorrow Fajr I noticed the time being shown is not for tomorrow but the day after. Here is the scenario:

Today is 15 AUG 2021 – Fajr Iqamaah time is 6:00 AM
Tomorrow is 16 AUG 2021 – Fajr Iqamaah time is 6:00 AM
The day after is 17 AUG 2021 – Fajr Iqamaah time is 5:55 AM

Right now – the time shown for next fajr should be 6:00 AM but it is showing 5:55 AM which is wrong

Can you please assist to fix please?

    Jazakallah

    ASA br Yasin,
    SubhanAllah! that is super strange.

I will try to reproduce the error to have it fixed.
Can you tell me if that is a constant thing?

Yes i did a few test it is constant whenever there is this change of time.

I’m experiencing the same/similar problem with the Digital Screen. First, the highlighted day on the “Quick Update Times” tab changes to the next day (tomorrow) around 6:00pm local (Edmonton, Canada). That’s after Asr Iqamah and before Maghrib. This causes the “Update Iqamah for Tomorrow” to display the different Maghrib and Isha times (other prayers are set times) for the day after tomorrow. I will confirm it but I think the date/day changes at 0000 UTC which is 6:00 pm local for me (UTC -6). However this has no impact on the prayer table times.

May Allah reward you for all the work you do to help the Ummah.

    Assalamualaikum brothers,
do you know where your hosting provider based in?
Also, in the settings did you select the city name for timezone?
Lastly, are you using a csv or automatic settings for timing?

    Walaikumsalam brother Mustafiz

In my case am using CSV for setting timings, my host is located in Singapore.

And my time zone in WordPress is set as Indian > Mauritius

    WAS

My service provider has Data Centers in Europe, U.S.A, and Canada (HostPapa).
My time zone in WordPress settings is set to Edmonton (my location).
I’m using a csv file for times.

I am finding it very interesting! please make dua, I will cool down my head and rethink the process as to why it is happening.

    Assalamualaikum

I have confirmed that the highlighted row on the “Quick Update Times” tab changes to the next day at 0000 UTC. I created another website with a different host (Bluehost) and the highlighted row changes to tomorrow’s day/date at 0000 UTC as well. This might be a function of the Plugin as you probably know.

At 0000 UTC, the “Update Iqamah for Tomorrow” times with Bluehost are correct however, with HostPapa the times change to the day after tomorrow. Strange.

I hope that helps. The issue may be the host.
