Wrong final order price

Someone used a cupon code on an order but the final price was way lower than the 20% off price.
Here is my coupon https://snipboard.io/cBfP1s.jpg

Hi there @eppz ??
Thanks for reaching out about this. Let’s troubleshoot it together!
While the settings here appear to be as desired, the result is odd, indeed.
I went ahead with trying to reproduce this, on a test site of mine, to no avail. Linked here is a screenshot, for reference.
As a next step, I’d recommend trying with a core payment method, and a simple product, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise.
The site’s System Status Report (SSR) has already expired, I’m afraid. Kindly re-send it, after setting expiration to a week.
We look forward to your response. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

heres the report: https://paste.mozilla.org/aE8LKkLD
the shop had other orders that day and customers used that cupon but everything was normal, it happened only for one specific order
Hello eppz
Thank you for your reply.
After reviewing the SSR, I noticed that WordPress and WooCommerce are outdated.
I recommend updating them to the latest version.I understand that the issue only happened with one order and we are not able to replicate it.
To investigate this further, could edit the affected order and share a screenshot of the Order Notes?
Also, share a similar screenshot from an order where there was no issue.
You may hide the sensitive information from the screenshot. This will allow to me check for any discrepancies in the orders.
Looking forward to your response. ??
Best regards.
Im now noticing that it looks like the coupon was applied twice
?? hey @eppz
Thank you for reaching back, with further details on this.
Im now noticing that it looks like the coupon was applied twice
Just to clarify, this happens with the store’s WooCommerce version still being 8.8.3 (as reported in the System Status Report (SSR) shared earlier here), or a different one?
Also, is this identified on one order, or more?
Additionally, did you already have a chance to test with?a core payment method, and?a simple product, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise?
I hope this is helpful! Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hello, after doing some research i have this extra information
For?philsgranola.gr?we created a coupon “final batch” that expired on june 10
We had a problem with 2 orders were the coupon was not applied correctly
#19442?https://snipboard.io/ZlE8p1.jpg?payment in store
and
#19429?https://snipboard.io/?payment with bank
From what i saw the 2 users did not have an account
1- It seems like the system is adding or keeping products users have added in the past?? (how can this be true if they do not have an account??) or products that users have not added the last time they visited the website
2- Also products with same product ids are added as different entries instead of increasing the quantity of the same product id
3- Also the 20% coupon is only applied to the products that the users seem to have added last (even if the system kept history of products they added in the past the coupon should have been added in the whole order and not the in items added last)
The system shows subtotal for all items, then applies the 20% coupon only on last items
see explicitly here for each order

System status report?https://paste.mozilla.org/gs7Fmf3SAlso for order #19442 the email confirmation showed 2 times the shipping method?https://snipboard.io/X32jpc.jpg
Hi @eppz
I’ve just reviewed the most recent system status reports, and it appears that your WooCommerce database is still outdated. Could you please go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and use the update database tools?
The issue of adding or keeping products users have added in the past could be due to how WooCommerce handles sessions. Even if a user doesn’t have an account, WooCommerce can still track their cart items through the use of cookies. To resolve this, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:
- WooCommerce transients – Clear
- Expired transients – Clear
- Clear template cache – Clear
- Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
- Clear customer sessions -Clear
- Product lookup tables – Regenerate
- Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate
Next, please clear your browser cache and then check again again.
The coupon being applied only to the last items added could be due to how the coupon is configured. For better assistance, can you provide screenshots showing the coupon settings on your end?
The issue with the email confirmation showing the shipping method twice could be a result of a theme or plugin conflict. Also, I noticed that you have some plugins that could potentially have compatibility issues. The most effective way to identify this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
I hope that helps! Let me know once you have done a conflict test!
