Wrong free shipping when order under 10€

    Hi all!
    Our page is published for two years now, without any issues (talking about free shipping).
    Free shipping is set for certain zones for orders above 50€.
    Now, if an order is under 10€, let’s say 6,50€, free shipping is also applied.
    I’ve double checked all settings and nothing seems to resolve the issue.

    My functions.php code includes some functions to show “Add 5,50€ more to your cart to get free shipping” left to get the free shipping and this code is working fine retrieving the correct order amount and the free shipping rate. But, the woocommerce summary is not working fine for orders under 10€.

    Any help?!

    Hi Jaime,

    To troubleshoot this further, please do the following:

    • Share screenshots of your shipping zone & method setup
    • Share a copy of your status report as found under WooCommerce > Status
    • Share a copy of the code you have added to your functions.php file
    • Share links to the exact products on your site we can test with alongside an example address – We’d like to see if we can replicate the same thing on our side.

    In addition, you mentioned everything working fine for two years now: Did anything change recently? Were there any plugin updates? If so, which ones?

    How to replicate:

    • Add any product under 10€ to your cart, (for example: https://42krunning.com/tienda/accesorios/bandana-running-multifuncion-42k-evan-artic/
    • Go to cart page. You can see my “add x€ more to get…” message (functions.php).
    • You can use any address in Continental Spain (Spain, Valencia, Valencia, 46002)
    • You will see two shipping options: “free shipping” and the click and collect method. The free shipping should not be shown. Instead, “Correos Express” and “Inpost” should be shown.
    • Now change qty to 2 o 3 instead of one. The right shipping methods appear.

    Oops, I didn’t answer to your last question.
    Looking backwards in the orders list, we can see this is happening since may. :/ I cannot tell you which plugins I updated then.

    Thank you for all the information!

    We are currently working on an issue regarding the use of commas and dots on the shipping, which might be what is happening here.

    Can you please delete the free shipping option and add it again, but make sure you don’t use dots or commas on the prices, use only numbers? Then, save it and check if the issue persists.

    It’s working perfectly! Deleted those methods, recreated them without decimal separator and now no free shipping under 10€.
